Parenting Productions Saskatoon is run by myself, Carmen Cornish and my business partner Kyla Martens. Kyla and I met a few years ago at a trade show where we were both exhibitors with our home businesses. We spent much of the day talking about things we'd like to do, and things we'd like to see in the city. It was about a year later we met again and decided to partner together and start Parenting Productions.
Having an educational background in Social Work and Kyla in Administration and Accounting, we both feel that the biggest contribution to the business is the fact that we are both mothers, and we recognized a need to bring new events and activities to Saskatoon.
Currently we have 6 children between the two of us, ranging in ages from 0-7 years, and two very supportive husbands. We both work from home and love the flexibility the business allows us to have.
